George Olmstead has over 30 years experience in the retained executive search business. Mr. Olmstead is based in the firm's Atlanta office. As a partner, he has conducted searches for clients in financial services, healthcare, hospitality, manufacturing, not-for-profit, real estate and telecommunications. His searches are conducted, primarily, at the Vice President up to Chief Executive Officer level. Among his clients have been world class companies such as BellSouth, Blockbuster, Canada Dry, Crane Company, Equitable, Fisher Scientific, Fortis, Ingersoll-Rand, Kimberly Clark, Mitsubishi, Siemens, and Thompson.
Mr. Olmstead's career began at Citizens and Southern National Bank (now Bank of America) as a management trainee. His career continued in financial services working for Johnson Higgins (now Marsh) of Georgia immediately prior to co-founding Blackshaw & Olmstead. That firm was purchased in 1986 by New York based, Boyden International, where he was a partner for four years. In 1990, he helped start the new search firm which eventually became Olmstead, Lynch & Curtis.
He is a past Board member of IMTECH (NASDAQ), Very Special Arts of Georgia, and the Georgia Conservancy and Young Audiences of Atlanta. He is former Board Vice Chairman of the Oldfields School in Hunt Valley, Maryland. He is a trustee of the Savannah Music Festival and Piedmont Park Conservancy.
A graduate of the University of Georgia, he attended both the University of Georgia School of Law and Georgia State University Graduate School of Business.

John Lynch joined the firm in 1991 and was made partner in 1994. Currently, he oversees the firm's Florida office.
Mr. Lynch's search practice focuses on serving clients in a wide range of industries. He has completed assignments for Chief Executives, Chief Operating Officers, Board Directors, Managing Directors, and Vice Presidents in a variety of companies such as American Express, Colgate-Palmolive, GE Capital, Bear Sterns, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, and Marsh McLennan, to name a few.
Additionally, he has conducted a substantial body of work with smaller entrepreneurial and small venture companies. Recent assignments include CEO, for a new start-up in the international communications industry, Vice President, Sales and Marketing for the same company, as well as three partners for a consulting firm dealing with issues focusing on board level concerns driven by Sarbannes Oxley.
Mr. Lynch had more than 20 years international and domestic search experience prior to joining Blackshaw, Olmstead. His early experience was in advertising sales with Time, Inc.
Mr. Lynch is a graduate of Fairfield University with a B.A. in English.

Phil Curtis was an executive partner from 2010 until his tragic passing in 2020 . Prior to joining the firm , he served as a partner with another blue chip search firm. Phil completed numerous senior level assignments for such regional, national and global clients as The Coca-Cola Company, Carter, Aaron’s, AIMCO, AIG, Pattillo, Bayer Properties, Halpern Enterprises and AGCO.
Phil began his career as an attorney with White & Case in New York, one of the world’s largest law firms. Later he practiced with the Atlanta firm that is now Jones Day, another Top Five firm. Following his legal career, he served as a senior executive for 25 years in commercial real estate with such prominent firms as Cousins Properties, Taylor & Mathis, JDN Realty Development and the Mills Corporation. Phil received his AB degree magna cum laude from Dartmouth College, JD from Harvard Law School and MBA from Harvard Business School.

In 1985, Mr. Kreutz became a principal and, soon thereafter, a partner in a successful retained executive search firm in Chicago. Four years later he established Kreutz Consulting Group, Inc of Lake Forest, Illinois.
Mr. Kreutz is a graduate of St Louis University with a B.S. in Commerce and completed his MBA at St. Louis University.

Ms. Faivre joined Gary Kreutz in the the firm's Chicago office in 2003 and brings with her a career spent in client service. In addition to her Ph.D., she holds an MS in Clinical Psychology. She provides candidate counseling and testing in addition to her traditional client recruiting efforts. She is also a part-time Associate Professor HOLOS University Graduate Seminary.
Beckett Olmstead has a long association with the firm with her primary focus being in management development, coaching and outplacement.
